QFutures

This fund will work with organisations committed to improving pathways to employment, and support to keep individuals in employment, aged 30+ across South Yorkshire. Based on consultation with local employers, partners and community organisations, we understand that supporting people into productive and rewarding employment needs a range of approaches, from pre-employability, pathways into work, and QFutures

Moving On Up

The aim of this funding is to help community organisations support young people (aged under 30) in South Yorkshire from pre-employability through to established pathways. Initial preference will be to those working in rural communities in Doncaster and Rotherham but we are keen to support groups across the region. Grants can fund a one-off or Moving On Up

Research in Practice (RinP) Placement

A social sciences postgraduate researcher (PGR) will spend the equivalent of 3 months working with you on a discrete project, challenge or research question. No payment is required for this placement. This gives them a practical opportunity to apply their specialist theoretical knowledge and methodological skills in different contexts, and to collaborate across sectoral and Research in Practice (RinP) Placement

Unity and Inclusion Grant: Barnsley

This fund is for any VCSE organisation looking to increase inclusion of their services or bring diverse community groups together in their area. SWEF Established Business Grants

The SWEF enterprise and business fund awards grants of up to £2,000 to young people in South Yorkshire who need support with business start up costs that they would otherwise not be able to afford, and particularly those who are not in education, employment or training. Sheffield Town Trust

The Town Trust has two funding programmes for not-for-profit organisations in Sheffield: Subscription List – this has been running for many years and supports core running costs of local charities and organisations with committed funding for a period of 3 years at a time in the region of £6,000 in total.
