Women TechEU

Women TechEU is a European initiative designed to strengthen and accelerate women-led deep tech start-ups by providing funding, expert support and access to valuable business networks. The programme focuses on early-stage companies developing innovative technologies with the potential to scale and create significant economic and societal impact across Europe.

Successful applicants can receive €75,000 in non-dilutive grant funding, alongside a tailored business development programme that includes mentoring, coaching and specialist training. The support package is designed to help founders overcome barriers to growth, refine their commercial strategy, strengthen leadership skills and prepare for future investment opportunities.

The programme operates through a two-stage application process. Businesses must first demonstrate their eligibility before being invited to submit a full proposal. Women TechEU is specifically aimed at women-led deep tech ventures and seeks to increase diversity within the European innovation ecosystem by supporting entrepreneurs working at the forefront of science, technology and innovation.

In addition to funding start-ups, the initiative is also recruiting experienced women mentors with expertise in entrepreneurship, investment and innovation to support participating businesses. By combining financial support with practical guidance and network development, Women TechEU aims to help high-potential women founders transform innovative ideas into successful, scalable businesses.
