UnLtd Funding Futures Programme

UnLtd Funding Futures Programme is a UK-wide funding and support programme delivered by UnLtd to back young social entrepreneurs aged 16–30 who are tackling financial exclusion and improving financial wellbeing in underserved communities. The programme is designed to help individuals turn early ideas into viable social ventures, or to strengthen and grow existing initiatives, by combining grant funding with tailored development support.

Funding Futures supports people who have an idea or a social venture that has been operating for less than four years and is based in the UK. Ventures should address issues such as access to financial services, debt, savings, income security, or financial confidence, either directly or indirectly.

Funding and support include:

  • Starting Up awards of up to £8,000 for early-stage ideas and new ventures
  • Scaling Up awards of up to £18,000 for more established projects ready to grow
In addition to funding, participants receive one-to-one coaching, access to peer networks, practical workshops, and specialist advice to help build sustainable, impactful organisations.

Key criteria:

  • Aged 16–30
  • Based in the UK
  • Idea-stage or venture operating for under four years
  • Clear focus on financial inclusion or resilience

Application window:

  • Opens: 6 January 2026
