Self-Made in 60 Days Programme

Self-Made in 60 Days is a fully funded eight-week business accelerator designed to help aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30 across South Yorkshire build the confidence, skills and visibility needed to grow a business or pursue self-employment. Delivered by Studio Self-Made, the programme combines online learning with three in-person events, creating opportunities for participants to learn, collaborate and connect with like-minded founders.

The programme focuses on practical business development and personal branding, helping participants attract customers, opportunities and professional networks. Sessions cover key topics including business fundamentals, understanding target audiences, content strategy, profile optimisation, content creation, AI skills, lead generation and sales. Participants leave with a clear personal brand, an actionable content strategy, optimised online profiles and a network of local business contacts.

Designed for freelancers, founders and individuals considering self-employment, the initiative aims to remove barriers to business growth by providing expert guidance, mentoring and peer support at no cost to participants. The programme is delivered by entrepreneurs Emma Redfern and Graeme Tidd, who bring extensive experience in entrepreneurship, personal branding and business support. Commissioned by Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council and funded by Quickline, Self-Made in 60 Days supports South Yorkshire’s next generation of entrepreneurs to develop sustainable businesses and create long-term economic impact.
