NatWest Accelerator Pitch

The NatWest Accelerator Pitch competition is designed to help ambitious early-stage businesses secure funding and raise their profile as they scale. The programme forms part of the wider NatWest Accelerator community and provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to pitch their business growth plans for a share of a substantial funding pot, alongside access to networks, coaching and business support.

Access to finance remains one of the biggest barriers facing start-ups and high-growth businesses. Many founders have strong products, services and growth ambitions but lack the capital needed to expand operations, recruit staff, develop new products or enter new markets. The NatWest Accelerator Pitch competition aims to address this challenge by combining grant funding with the support and visibility that can help businesses accelerate their growth journey.

The competition is aimed at UK-registered limited companies that have been incorporated within the last five years and are generating up to £1 million in annual revenue. Businesses do not need to be NatWest customers to participate, but applicants must be members of the NatWest Accelerator community. Entrants are required to submit a short video pitch explaining how additional funding would support the growth of their business.

Successful finalists progress to live pitch events where they present their business plans to an expert judging panel. At each event, three businesses share a £100,000 prize fund, with the overall winner receiving £70,000, second place receiving £20,000 and third place receiving £10,000. Funding is provided as a grant, allowing businesses to invest directly in growth activities.

This opportunity is particularly suitable for founders of innovative, growth-focused businesses seeking funding, exposure and access to a supportive entrepreneurial network. For businesses with clear growth plans and a compelling story, the competition offers both financial support and a platform to accelerate future success.
