Linder Foundation

Charities across the UK are invited to apply for funding to deliver projects that bring about genuine social change in their communities.

The funding is made available by the Linder Foundation, which supports projects across a range of categories, including:

  • Young People – projects that aim to improve outcomes for vulnerable young people, particularly those who have suffered from Adverse Childhood Experiences and childhood trauma. This round will focus on young offenders and those in care
  • The Environment – for projects that protect and enhance the natural world
  • The Arts – for projects supporting and championing the arts.

The Foundation also provides support for:

  • Medical Electives – the Foundation supports medical student electives through seven chosen university medical schools. Applications are by invitation only.
  • Hospices and Respite Care – working with Hospice UK to deliver targeted project funding. Grants to individual Hospices will not be made during this round.

Previously supported projects have included:

  • Youth on the Move, which provides recreational activities to disadvantaged young people
  • the V&A Illustration Awards, which celebrates the work of talented artists
  • LEAF, which supports nature-based solutions to climate change.
