Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK is a fully funded business growth programme designed to help ambitious small business and social enterprise leaders develop the skills, knowledge and networks needed to achieve sustainable growth. Since its launch in 2010, the programme has supported thousands of entrepreneurs across the UK, helping businesses create jobs, increase turnover and strengthen their local economies.
Delivered in partnership with Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and Aston University, the programme combines practical business education with one-to-one mentoring, expert business advice, peer networking and strategic planning. Participants work alongside other established business leaders while developing a tailored Business Growth Plan to support future expansion. The programme includes around 100 hours of learning delivered through a blend of online study, workshops and in-person sessions.
The programme is aimed at owners and senior decision-makers of established businesses that have been trading for at least three years, employ between 5 and 50 people, and have achieved a minimum annual turnover of £250,000. It is designed for organisations with clear growth ambitions and scalable business models, rather than start-ups or sole traders.
Participants gain access to a powerful alumni network, professional expertise and ongoing support opportunities. The programme has built a strong reputation for helping small business leaders strengthen leadership skills, improve business performance, identify new growth opportunities and build long-term resilience in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
