Fire and rescue services, trading standards authorities, community safety organisations and other not-for-profit organisations will soon be able to apply for grants of up to £5,000 to deliver initiatives that help vulnerable people across the UK to improve the electrical safety of their homes.
The funding is made available through the Electrical Safety Fund, which aims to keep people safe in their homes by tackling the risks associated with electrical products, increasing the public’s awareness of electrical safety, and promoting changes in behaviour.
