Cambridge Judge Business School

Cambridge Judge Business School is inviting organisations to submit proposals for its Management Studies Tripos Project, providing an opportunity to access free consultancy support from a team of Cambridge University undergraduate Management students.

Teams of 3–4 students work with an organisation over four weeks to investigate a clearly defined, real-world management challenge. The project is supervised by the University and gives organisations access to additional analytical capacity to explore opportunities or challenges they may not otherwise have the time or resources to investigate.

Suitable projects could include:

  • Exploring a new business venture
  • Developing a new product, treatment or technology
  • Researching opportunities to enter a new market
  • Developing a business plan
  • Developing or reviewing a financial plan
  • Investigating other clearly defined business or management challenges

The opportunity is open to organisations of all kinds, provided they can propose a well-defined project suitable for the student team.

There is no fee for the consultancy work, although participating organisations are expected to cover any travel or incidental expenses associated with their project.

Projects will take place from 10 May to 4 June 2027, providing an intensive four-week period during which students focus on the organisation’s challenge.

Deadline for project proposals: 18 January 2027.
