Business Productivity & Digitisation Grant: Sheffield

The Business Productivity and Digitisation Grant Scheme supports SMEs in Sheffield to invest in projects that improve productivity or introduce new digital technologies.

Businesses can access two types of matched funding:

• Productivity Grants: £5,000 to £12,500
• Digital Grants: £2,500 to £5,000

The grant can cover 50% of eligible project costs, with the business contributing the remaining 50%. Funding can support revenue costs, such as specialist business support, as well as capital investment including machinery, equipment, digital systems and premises fit-out.

Businesses also receive access to a fully funded Productivity Advisor, who can help identify barriers to productivity, develop the project and grant application, and measure the improvements achieved.

Eligible businesses must be SMEs based in commercial premises in Sheffield with a lease or licence in place. Productivity Grant applicants must have been trading for at least 12 months. Businesses must also be able to fund the project upfront before claiming the grant and meet the scheme’s subsidy requirements.

Projects should deliver clear improvements in productivity, such as saving staff time, reducing material use, improving processes, increasing capacity or introducing digital innovation. Funding is available until fully committed. Apply ASAP.
