Barnsley Health & Wellbeing Fund

The North Area Council has allocated £40,000 per annum for a 2 year period to support projects that improve the health and wellbeing of adults aged 18+ in the North Area wards of Barnsley i.e. Darton East, Darton West, Old Town and St Helens.

The Health & Wellbeing Fund is aimed at enabling residents in the North Area of Barnsley to live well and thrive by improving their physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing.

The scheme is open to non-profit organisations with funding available for direct costs such as staff, venue hire, transport and delivery. Delivery must take place and benefit adults in the North Area of Barnsley.
