Company of Cutlers Charitable Trust

Charities and community organisations across Sheffield and South Yorkshire are being encouraged to apply for funding from the Combined Cutlers Company Charitable Trust (CCCT). The Trust provides grants to organisations delivering projects that address hardship, distress, health and wellbeing, helping local groups make a positive difference in their communities.

The Trust is made up of two charitable funds: the Company of Cutlers Charitable Trust and the Sir John Osborn Charitable Fund. Together, they support a wide range of causes, including projects that relieve poverty, improve health outcomes, provide support for vulnerable individuals and strengthen community wellbeing across South Yorkshire.

Most grants are relatively small, with average awards of around £1,500, making the fund particularly suitable for local charities and grassroots organisations seeking support for specific projects, services or initiatives. Applications are considered twice a year, with funding rounds taking place in May and November.

The Trust has a long history of supporting the voluntary sector and recently awarded funding to dozens of charities across the region, helping to fund projects that improve lives and strengthen local communities.
