The Infrastructure Productivity Scale-Up Programme is a four-month initiative designed to help innovative UK businesses accelerate the adoption of proven productivity solutions within the infrastructure sector. Delivered by Connected Places Catapult and supported by the Infrastructure Industry Innovation Partnership (i3P), the programme focuses on helping SMEs overcome barriers to market adoption and secure opportunities for wider commercial deployment.
The programme is seeking up to ten high-potential businesses with solutions that have already demonstrated value in real-world settings and are ready to scale. Rather than supporting technology development, the programme provides practical assistance to strengthen evidence of impact, improve procurement readiness, develop commercial strategies and build relationships with major infrastructure stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants and investors.
Participants will benefit from expert mentoring, industry insight, networking opportunities and support to develop routes to market. The programme also offers opportunities to showcase solutions to potential customers and demonstrate measurable productivity improvements. Cohort members can apply for up to £8,000 to support demonstration activities that help validate and evidence the effectiveness of their solution.
The focus is on addressing key infrastructure productivity challenges, including improving supply chain visibility, reducing waste and delays, strengthening project cost and delivery confidence, and integrating innovative solutions into existing industry systems and workflows. By connecting SMEs with decision-makers and industry partners, the programme aims to accelerate innovation adoption and improve productivity across UK infrastructure delivery.
