Community Hub Project Grants provide up to £30,000 to support substantial, collaborative projects between at least one GLAM or heritage organisation (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) and one community group. The grants are designed to fund projects that are co‑designed and community‑led, ensuring that communities play a central role in shaping, delivering and benefiting from the work.
These grants support in‑depth research, skills development and the creation of lasting resources that reflect a wide range of voices, experiences and perspectives. There is a strong emphasis on inclusion, sustainability and long‑term impact, helping both communities and institutions to build meaningful relationships and create enduring value. Projects may build on earlier Seed Corn funding or be entirely new initiatives.
The funding round closes on 12 June 2026. Eligible costs are broad and flexible, including staff or freelancer time, community engagement and co‑design activities, training and skills development, travel and subsistence, materials, equipment, venue hire, digital tools and content creation, evaluation, dissemination, accessibility services, and general organisational overheads.
In addition to financial support, all applicants, whether successful or not, gain access to a dedicated skills development and training programme. This programme will include interactive workshops, expert‑led webinars and collaborative learning activities, designed to strengthen professional skills, support peer networking and share best practice. The training offer will be shaped by feedback from communities and sector partners to ensure relevance and practical value, with further details published in the new year.
