Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chains

The Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chains: Potential High Growth SMEs competition provides up to £2 million in Innovate UK funding to help UK‑registered micro, small and medium-sized enterprises overcome barriers to commercialisation and scaling. Running from 18 March to 22 April 2026, the competition aims to improve resource efficiency or resilience within supply chains that support frontier industries in the Advanced Manufacturing sector. Eligible projects must request between £50,000 and £100,000 in grant funding.

This is a competitive process with an expected success rate of around 20%, and Innovate UK may adjust funding allocations depending on the volume and quality of applications, changes in policy or wider government decisions. Applicants’ prior conduct, including any outstanding payments owed to Innovate UK or UKRI, may influence funding outcomes and could lead to additional scrutiny.

The programme emphasises accessibility and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds. Support is available for applicants with disabilities or long‑term conditions who may need reasonable adjustments during the application process. Innovate UK encourages applicants to request adjustments at least 15 working days before the deadline to ensure appropriate support can be arranged. Telephone and email guidance is also available during published operating hours.
